Concrete Slab & Foundation Work
Professional foundation and slab installation for homes, additions, and commercial buildings.

The Foundation for Everything That Matters
Your foundation is not something you think about every day. But it is literally holding up everything else. Whether you are building a new garage, adding onto your house, or constructing a commercial building, the foundation needs to be done right the first time. There are no second chances once the structure goes up.
We specialize in concrete slab and foundation work throughout Weymouth and the surrounding area. From small shed pads to full basement foundations, we know how to work with local soil conditions and building codes. Our foundation contractors have been pouring slabs for residential and commercial projects since 2024, and we take pride in getting the details right.
Foundation and Slab Services We Provide
Foundation work comes in different forms depending on what you are building. Here is what we handle.
- Garage and shed foundation slabs
- Full basement foundations with footings
- Slab-on-grade foundations for new construction
- Addition and bump-out foundations
- Equipment pads for HVAC units and generators
- Commercial building foundations and floor slabs
- Crawl space foundations
Each type of foundation has specific requirements for depth, reinforcement, and drainage. We follow Massachusetts building codes and make sure everything passes inspection the first time.
Why Proper Foundation Work Cannot Be Skipped
A lot of people want to save money on the foundation and spend more on finishes. That is backwards. Your foundation affects everything that comes after it. If the slab settles unevenly, you get cracked walls and stuck doors. If water gets into a basement foundation, you are dealing with moisture problems forever.
Load-Bearing Capacity
Foundations must support the weight of whatever you are building. We calculate the required thickness and reinforcement based on the structure. A garage slab is different from a basement foundation. Both need proper footing depth below the frost line, which in Massachusetts is typically 4 feet deep.
Moisture and Drainage Management
Water is the enemy of any foundation. We grade the site to direct water away from the foundation. Vapor barriers go under slabs to prevent moisture from wicking up through the concrete. For basement foundations, we install proper drainage systems and waterproofing. These steps prevent costly problems down the road.
Code Compliance and Inspections
Foundation work requires permits and inspections in most cases. We handle the permit process and coordinate with inspectors. Our work meets or exceeds local building codes. This protects your investment and ensures you can get insurance and sell the property later without issues.
Our Foundation Installation Process
Foundation work follows a specific sequence. Skipping steps or rushing leads to problems. Here is how we approach every foundation project to ensure it lasts.
First, we excavate to the proper depth based on your building plans and frost line requirements. The soil gets compacted and leveled. For basement foundations, we dig footings below the frost line and pour them first. Once footings cure, we build forms for the foundation walls or prepare the slab area.
Rebar or wire mesh reinforcement goes in according to engineering specs. We install vapor barriers, insulation if needed, and any embedded plumbing or electrical conduits. Then we pour the concrete and finish it to the required specifications. After curing, forms come off and we backfill around the foundation. The result is a solid base ready for your commercial building project or home addition.
When You Need Foundation Work
You need a foundation contractor before starting any significant construction project. This includes new garage construction, home additions, commercial buildings, or replacing an existing failed foundation. Do not wait until you are ready to frame. Foundation work takes time and needs to cure properly.
If you are seeing cracks in an existing foundation or settlement issues, we can assess the damage and recommend solutions. Sometimes foundation repair is possible. Other times a new foundation is the better long-term solution. We give you honest assessments and clear pricing.
